WK Palmerton Associates LLC (WKPA) was formed in 2004 to provide management and transaction consultancy services to a wide array of client’s.   WKPA’s principle consultant W. Kent Palmerton has a diverse background in management and transaction based consulting. In his practice and while employed by others Mr. Palmerton served in Senior and Executive Management positions in both the public and private sector for nearly 30 years.

A key component of WKPA’s success has been its ability to present to its clients the best talent available to work on its consulting engagements.  We take the concept of  Associates seriously.  When needed, WKPA will gather together proven and trusted Associates with years of experience working together to solve problems.  These Associates are independent contractors to WKPA and are managed and directed by Mr. Palmerton on a project by project basis.

Using Associates where appropriate, WKPA becomes a “virtual” consulting firm with just the right talent for each engagement.  This virtualization of a the standard all-in-one consulting company is more responsible to client needs and significantly reduces overhead and waste.   WKPA doesn’t need to find billable hours for resident consultants or junior consultants in training.  The client comes first, not the needs of the firm at WKPA.
